SNOW POLICY

In the event of snow / bad weather, we may have to cancel our workshop.  School closings do not necessarily mean that we will cancel our workshops.  All cancellations will be recorded on the Children's Ministry Line (973) 895-4226 and posted on this website.  We will try to post information by 3pm the day of the workshop.  Please use your discretion as we may not be aware of conditions in all areas.

Assisting parents in their primary role as faith educators, the Children’s Ministry religious education program at Resurrection Parish seeks to impart the traditions of our Catholic faith and preparation for the reception of the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

Children in grades 1 through 5 meet once a month, after school from 4:30 pm to 6:05 pm.   Our Kindergarten program is optional.

Resurrection Parish’s understanding of the partnership in faith development…

• Regular participatein in the weekly celebration of the Eucharist (Mass)
• Parental support and involvement in projects and activities when needed.
• Registered in the Parish and contributing members through the use of the envelope system on a weekly, monthly or quaterly basis.  

Discipline Policy - If a student is disruptive or uncooperative during any religious education session they will be given a verbal warning.  If the behavior continues, the parent will be called and ask to attend the next session with the child.

Early Dismissal - There will be no early dismissal from religious education programs except for special circumstances which the parents have discussed with Coordinator.
